Not voice mail, not a tweet, not a facebook message, not an IM, but an actual piece of paper mail that has a stamp and just shows up in your mailbox waiting to be ripped open and share its news. I love mail. Don't get me wrong, e-mails and all other new and virtual forms of messaging are nice and it certainly seems like we use them more than we used to sent letters, but it's just so exciting to get a piece of mail, Especially when you had no idea it was coming. There's something about knowing that someone cared enough to write down their thoughts, wrap them in a envelope, sealed it, and send it off to be shared with you that is just so special when compared to pressing the "send" button. Thankfully, there's still some people out there who feel the same and Deborah from
The Fairfield House is one of them. She is trying to get people from all 50 states and all over the world to send her postcards about where they live and she, in return, will send you a postcard with information on her neck of the woods. Plus, a participant from each of the 50 states will be entered into a drawing for super fun New Jersey Prize pack! Please check out her
blog and join the fun! Help keep Snail Mail alive!
